Headstone says died age 66 yrs
The four headstones of William and wife and William, Jr and wife are designed alike - probably put on the graves at the same time. William Chapman's will was signed and probated in 1807. Probably an error made by a family member when the stones were placed.
Per will signed in 1807 William lists children as follows:
Collimore Chapman
Tabitha Plummer
Mary Plummer
William Chapman
Monica Plummer
Naaman Chapman
Sarah Chapman
Nancy Chapman
Tabitha Chapman, Mary Chapman and Monica Chapman married brothers William Plummer, Thomas K Plummer and Jeremiah Plummer and their brother Naaman Chapman married Rachel Plummer. All the Plummers were the children of George Plummer.
William Chapman, Jr and Thomas Kirk Plummer (son-in-law) were made executors of the will.
Sarah Chapman later married John Norris and Nancy Chapman married Joshua Tatman.
