Ernest Catey, 43, Station Manager, Dies Unexpectedly

Ernest O. Catey, 43, lifelong resident of New Castle and manager of the DX Service Station at Grand and 21st Sts, died unexpectedly Saturday night while at work.

He was a member of the Friends Church, and the New Castle Masonic and Eagles Lodges.

He is survived by the wife, Mary Lousie; two sons, Harold Leslie and Lloyd Allen, at home; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Catey, and one sister, Mrs. Larry Rose of Pendleton.

The body was taken from the Main and Son Funeral Home to the family residence, where friends may call. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Friends Church with Rev. Truman Whittaker and Rev. John Harvey officiating.

Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.

Members of New Castle Lodge No. 91, F. and A.M., will meet at the Temple at 2 p.m. Tuesday to go to South Mound and conduct services.
