Mrs. JoAnn Simons Hons, 25, wife of Donald Hons of 1055 Ridgefield Ave., died at the City Hospital at 6:30 a.m. Monday following a year's illness.
Daughter of William and Elizabeth Schmidt Simons, the deceased was born in Alliance on May 11, 1932, and resided here her lifetime. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Hons; a daughter, Katherine E. of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Simons; a grandmother, Mrs. Mary Schmidt of Los Angeles; a brother, William Simons; a twin sister, Mrs. Joan Roose, and two other sisters, Carolee and Dorothy Simons, all of this city.
