A memorial of our ancestors who lived in this community from 1760 to 1820 and used this plot as a burial ground.
Johannes Zug / Zook born in Darmstadt, Germany emigrated to America in 1742 with his two brothers Christian and Moritz. He married Veronica, maiden name unknown. To this union were born vis Hans Christian, Daniel, Barbara and Elizabeth.
He married his second wife, Mary, and died in 1790. Both were buried here with other families such as Christian Fischer who died in 1768.
