He had been in apparent good health but was found dead at his home by members of his family.
He was born July 4, 1892, at Milo, the son of James H and Anna Joan Olson Jordan. He grew up at Milo and attended schools in that area. He attended Idaho Falls High School.
He married Cora Mae Squires Dec. 28, 1910. They homesteaded on a ranch on Hell Creek in the eastern section of Bonneville County. They later bought a farm near Ucon and lived there until 1945 when they moved into Idaho Falls. They lived here since.
Mrs. Jordan died Oct. 1, 1956.
Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Wayne (Madge) Jeffery, and Mrs. Ralph (Marjorie) Jeffery, both of New Sweden; four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Florence McMillan, Idaho Falls.
