E. Kenneth Harley, Pastor, Officiating. Burial will be at Glencoe-Geiger Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 19, from 5-7:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove MBC. Viewing will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the church on Sat.
Mr. Brooks was born in Dover, DE and moved to this area in 1959 from Armstrong, FL. He attended the former Chisholm High School. He was employed with the City of New Smyrna Beach as a grounskeeper. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working out in the gym.
Survivors include his son, Peter Lee Brooks; daughters, Tracey Pitts, Sabrena Brooks, Christy Brooks; brothers, Felton Brooks, Donald Brooks, all of New Smyrna Beach; sisters, Thretha Brooks-Tarkhan, Jacksonville, FL, Marva Brooks, Patricia Brooks-Benjamin, both of New Smyrna Beach; five grandchildren; and many other relatives and sorrowing friends.
