US Congressman. Elected to represent Massachusetts' 2nd and 4th Districts in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1793 to 1797. Also served as a Member of the Massachusetts State House of Representatives in 1787, and Member of the Massachusetts State Senate in 1789. This is a cenotaph in his memory. William Lyman is actually interred at Gloucester Cathedral in Gloucester, England.
