She married Carlton Bridges on 16 February 1947 at Albany. Together, for six years, the owned / operated C&G Foods in Gordon and farmer and ranched at their home in Stephens County. She was a long-time, faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents - Ira and Gracie Killion; one sister - Gladys Norman; one brother - Bill Killion.
