Our beloved mother, daughter, and sister passed away on Friday, August 12, 2011 after a valiant battle with brain cancer.

Lisa is survived by her husband Jerry K. Forsey along with their four children, daughters Megan (Sean) Rachelle McWhorter, Melissa Anne Forsey, Mckayla Brianne Forsey, and son Nathan Jerry Forsey. Lisa is the daughter of Lou and Shirley Hatch (Vernal, UT) and daughter-in-law of James K. Forsey and Joyce Forsey (Richfield, UT). She is the baby sister of Nancy Rood (Port Angeles, WA); Greg Hatch (Vernal, UT); Michael Hatch (Sandy, UT); and Rory Hatch (Vernal, UT).

Lisa graduated from Uintah High School in 1983 and later attended Utah Community College in Orem, Utah. Lisa and Jerry were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 14, 1985. Throughout Lisa's life she has always thought of others before herself in serving her family and friends.

She has volunteered endless hours in serving people as an active member of the LDS Church in various callings throughout her life. Her love for life and compassion for others were great examples to everyone around her.

She has most recently enjoyed serving in the Highland Twenty-Seventh Ward as a member of the Relief Society Presidency.

Lisa will be missed for her beautiful smile and positive outlook that she always provided to others. She had a natural ability to show compassion for others in times of need.

Lisa has a testimony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ knowing that He is our Redeemer and looks forward to the opportunity to be united with her family again. We honor and love her dearly and look forward to a beautiful reunion with her.

The Forsey family wishes to thank all of the countless hours of service the past 15 months that has been provided by individuals and families of the Highland Twenty-Seventh and Highland West Stake along with extended family members and friends.
