Mary Edith Johnson Andersen was born August 25, 1897 to Jens Christian and Maria Isaacson Johnson in Richmond, Utah. She died January 19, 1992 in Salt Lake City. She married John Albert Andersen March 26, 1917 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She loved life, people and her family.

She never failed to notice and appreciate the beauty of the world - nor to extend a smile and a cheery word to friends and strangers alike. She was universally loved by everyone, but especially her family.

She is survived by her children, Albert Del and Marilyn Anderson, Portland, Oregon; Rollo Johnson and Bonnie Anderson, Provo; and Allene and Robert Fowler, Salt Lake City; also, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, John Albert; and a son, Brent Christian. Our Gammy claimed she was "...the last leaf on the tree."

Funeral services Thursday, January 23, 1 p.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
