Funeral services for Hilda Iverson, 87, were held on Saturday, May 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Leroy Miltner officiating. Burial was in the Hardin Township Cemetery southwest of Stratford.

Mrs. Iverson died Wednesday, May 11 at Crestview Manor Care Center. She had resided at the care center for two years.

Hilda Louise Henrikson, daughter of Nels and Amanda Barner Henrickson, was born Jan. 24, 1901, in Kalix, Sweden. She came to the United States at the age of 20.

On June 7, 1924, she married John A. Anderson at Moline, Ill. The couple resided there and later moved to Stratford where Mr. Anderson operated the Anderson Hardware.

She then moved to Illinois, Washington and in 1983 retired to Iowa.

On July 6, 1966 she married Axel Iverson at Aberdeen, Wash. He preceded her in death in 1968.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Lloyd Urich of Blairsburg; two step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews in Sweden.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters.
