Sarah Anne married Roswell Hicks and they had a son Arthur P Hicks. Sarah died in childbirth in 1879 at Rome, Lenawee, MI aged 38 years.
Her sister, Susan, married Frank A. Carpenter and the couple settled on an 80 acre farm at Decatur, Van Buren, MI. Along with his farming Frank followed his trade as carpenter.
