CLAUDE C. CALHOUN, 91, died July 14 at his home in Charleston, WV, following a long illness.
Born in Newland, N.C., he was a 58-year resident of Kanawha County and was a construction foreman for Kanawha Manufacturing Co; from 1967 to 1977, he was an operator of an Ashland Service Station.
Survivors: wife, Maxie Wolford Calhoun; daughters, Mrs. Betty Kirkwood and JoAnn Humphreys, both of Charleston, W.V., Mrs Cay Wood, Elkins, W.V.; sons, Ralph Calhoun, Charleston, W.V., Larry Calhouin, Hurricane, W.V.; sister, Hattie Stout, Newland, N.C.; brother, Harold Calhoun, Statesville, N.C.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
