MRS. O.D. BARTO ENDS LIFE'S JOURNEY.
Mrs. O.D. Barto, long a resident of this community, passed away Friday evening after a brief illness. Mrs. Barto's maiden name was Jane Ann Neely, and she was born in Cortland, New York, on September 12, 1824. She was united in marriage to Austin Barnum on August 2, 1867, and he passed away several years ago. Later she was married to O.D. Barto in December, 1884, who survives.
The funeral services were conducted from the residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were in charge of Rev. E.E. Shawl. The interment occurred in the Neponset cemetery.
