Service: Expedition to Grinnell's Farm, Advance on Manassas, VA, Fredericksburg, battles of Mechanicsville, Gaines. Mill, Charles City Crossroads and Glendale on 6/30/1862. James was wounded in the Battle of Glendale and discharged by Gen. Order War Dept. 11/20/1862.
