Mrs. Blackerby was born in Pecan Gap and lived in the Fort Worth area for more than 25 years.

Blackerby of Fort Worth; son, Rodney Blackerby of Fort Worth; two daughters, Rosanne Vaughan of Fort Worth and Linda Vallew of Santa Ana, Calif.; mother, Myrtle Shores of Weatherford; brother, Wayne Shores of Harrisburg, N.C.; three sisters, Betty Stever of Schwenksville, Penn., Bobbie Burleson of Fort Worth and Helen Pugh of Weatherford; and three grandchildren.
