Mrs. Conner was a homemaker and had worked for 20 years as a coil winder at Square D. retiring in 1987. She was a 1943 graduate of Chili High School and was a member of the Markle United Methodist Church.
She was born on February 20, 1925 in Smithville, TN a daughter of William and Martha (Pack) Love.
She was united in marriage to Ross L. Conner on October 18, 1947.
Her husband survives. Additional survivors include two sons: Dennis (Linda) Conner of Huntington and Larry (Connie) Conner of Ft. Wayne; A brother William Landon Love of Mexico, IN; a sister Geraldine (Larry) Brower of Macy, IN; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, a brother and 3 sisters.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Steven McPeek officiating.
Preferred memorials in honor of Mary Ruth can be made to Markle Fish and Game Club Park or the American Heart Association
