Mr. Charles L. Bailey, of 204 Addie Street passed away Friday at Hospice LaGrange.
Mr. Bailey, a native of Troup County, was the son of Lilla Pearl Blackmon Bailey and the late George W. Bailey. He was a former employee of Kleentex II and Carter's of Hogansville.
Survivors in addition to his mother, include his wife, Susie Joyce Bailey; four sons, Steve Bailey and Rodney Rivers of LaGrange and Toney Bailey and Michael Bailey of Columbus; five daughters, Marilene Bailey, Terri Bailey, and Mico Bailey, all of Columbus, Paulette and Frank Pickett and Chanda Carter, all of LaGrange; one sister, Betty Bailey of LaGrange; 20 grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, three aunts, Minnie Moss of LaGrange, Sara Johnson of Whitesville, Lilla P. Bailey of Atlanta, a devoted nephew, Willie Charles Bailey of Augusta; former wife, Sallie L. Bailey; sister-in-law, Christine Newton Wilson of West Point; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Frank Bailey.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p. m. aat Union Springs Baptist Church on Whitesville Road with Rev. Keith Todd officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
The family will be at this home.
