Francis Lamora Died Sunday In Star Lake Hospital
Word has been received by friends in Ogdensburg of the death of Francis Lamora of Star Lake, a former resident of this city, which occurred Sunday night (Aug. 19) in the Star Lake Hospital. Mr. Lamora, who was in his late forties, had been in failing health for some time.
The body is resting at the Freeman funeral home in Gouverneur and the funeral will be Wednesday morning.
Surviving Mr. Lamora are his wife, Mrs. Jean Collins Lamora; a sister; and several brothers.
Mr. and Mrs. Lamora lived for several years at 600 New York Ave., during the time that Mr. Lamora, an electrician, was employed as a foreman on the St. Lawrence Seaway project. They made many friends here.
Recently, Mr. Lamora was a patient in Hepburn Hospital for two weeks, prior to being re-admitted to the hospital at Star Lake.
Mr. Lamora was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, local 910 of Watertown.
