Son of Charles Ostrom (1861-1943) and Anna (Orrie) Ostrom (1861-1938). Born on Feb 26, 1900, in Lewis Lake, Minnesota.

His father built and owned the Lewis Lake Church and created the Lewis Lake Cemetery.

He married Frances Florence Fuecker on Nov 25, 1935, and had three children:
Orabell "Ozzie" Ann Ostrom
Theola "Cookie" Florence Ostrom (My grandma)
Edward "Sonny" Stephen Ostrom

Edward, at the age of 58, died suddenly on Jan 3, 1958, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
