Helen M. Whiston Hainey, wife of Perry Hainey died Monday December 11, 1916 in the Clay Center Hospital. Her death was quite unexpected and brought sad news to those who knew her well. She and her husband had been members of the Clay County town of Green for many years.
Mrs. Hainey had been a faithful member of the local Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Green, conducted by Rev. E.C. Thorp, pastor.
Burial was in Fancy Creek Cemetery, Green, Kansas.
