Roscoe Lady Dies in Delaware
A telegram was received by E. C. Gleason Wednesday morning announcing the death of Mrs. Evelyn (Mirise) Crickard at her home in Mount Vernon, Indiana {sic, Ohio} Tuesday afternoon. She had been suffering for month with cancer of the breast. She formerly resided at Roscoe and married James Crickard of Delaware, Ohio. She left Roscoe about 25 years ago. Her husband and four children survive. She was about 50 years of age and was a member of the M.E. church. The telegram stated that the remains would arrive in Coshocton at 9:32. The body will be take directly from the station to Roscoe cemetery for interment. Mrs. Crickard was a daughter of the late James Mirise, of Roscoe, a sister of Alonso Mirise, and a cousin of Bailey Mirise.
