He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Atwell Ball who died September 2, 2004; first wife, Myrtle Bowery Ball who died March 23, 1980; daughters, Theresa Ball and Terri Steele; parents; sisters, Mae Minton, Jane ‘Susie’ Ball, and Jean Ball; brothers, Roy, Alvin, and Pete Ball; sisters-in-law, Libbie Matthews and Shirley Giger; and brothers-in-law, Gene Atwell, Walter Russell Atwell Jr., Marvin Atwell, and Dick Bowery.
