Rosary for Ceila Altamirano, 81, of Hamlin will be 7 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 in Englunds Chapel with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating.

Celebration of life service will be 12 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 in Englunds Chapel with Rev. Teresito Paqueo officiating. Internment will follow in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Ceila was born January 27, 1930 in Posey to Manuel and Emilia Griego. She was a homemaker. Ceila volunteered for many churches and rest homes. She married Noe Altamirano on January 9, 1981 in Snyder. They resided in Hamlin for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Griego; stepson, George Altamirano; and grandson Jayson Spencer Henry.

Survivors include her husband, Noe; sister, Gloria (Cecil) Mosser of Slaton; son, Edward (Dora) DeLeon of Saginaw; stepsons, Francisco (Lucila) Altamirano, Noe, Jr. (Janie) Altamirano of Denver, Colo.; daughters, Mary (Scott) Crawford of Buffalo Springs Lake, Sobeidali (Sam) Henry and Melinda (Rudy) Puente all of Lubbock; along with ten grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
