Mrs. Alma Lorene Crow, 1850 N. Main Street, widow of Miley Crow, died Tuesday at 4:20 p.m. at Lamar Medical Center following an illness.
The funeral, Thursday, February 18, at 2:00 p.m. will be conducted at Gene Roden & Sons Funeral Home and burial will be made in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Lamar County, 29 Nov 1907, the former Miss Alma Lorene Dennis, was a daughter of Leo Dennis of Emberson and his late wife, the former Miss Pearl Snow. She was a member of Emberson Baptist Church and owned and operated the Miley Crow Company & Service Station.
Survivors include her father; one daughter, Mrs Frank O'Brien of Paris and one granddaughter, Anna Bee O'Brien.
