Charles W. Porter Dies

Charles William Porter, 54, of Broadacres died at his home near here early Saturday. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Ringo Funeral chapel, followed by interment in the Hubbard cemetery.

He was born in Enig Station, Mo., November 5, 1895, and came to Oregon from Denver 41 years ago. He had lived here about three years. He was a veteran of world war I, a member of the V.F.W. and D.A.V. and the Hubbard Rifle club.

He is survived by two daughters, a brother, Earl Porter of Arkansas and his mother,
