Born Jean M. Fisk July 21, 1931 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Harry and Eleanor (Crocoll) Fisk. Jean married Theodore M. Armes; he passed away July 19, 1998.
A secretary and office manager, Jean worked in the dental office of the former Dr. Robert Watson Dental Practice in Gowanda, NY for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Post 409 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter Suzanne (Robert) Testerman of Irving; and a son, Richard (Dana) Armes of Houston, TX; 4 grandchildren, Kyle and Michael Deneen along with Mark and Lea Armes. Jean is also survived by 2 sisters, Winifred Newell of Fredonia and Patricia Renckens of Dunkirk. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jack and Albert Fisk.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial in the Pine Hill Cemetery Gowanda.
