Robert H. Alcantar, 56, of Indio died July 17, 2005, in Indio. He was born July 23, 1948, to Anselmo Alcantar and Connie Martinez in Riverside. He was a custodian with the Department of Employment for 20 years. He is survived by his daughter, Yolanda Alcantar of Indio; two sons, Mike Alcantar and Robert Alcantar Jr. of Indio; three sisters, Yolanda Alcantar of Cathedral City, Angie Martinez of Desert Hot Springs and Irma Martinez of Thousand Palms; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday, with a service at 11 a.m. at FitzHenry Funeral Home Chapel Indio. Burial will be at Coachella Valley Cemetery under the direction of FitzHenry Funeral Home.
