Thomas R. Halliburton, age 69 of Waverly, TN and formerly of Dickson, died on July 22, 2011. He was born January 17, 1942 in Dover, TN. He was a Son of the late William Robert Halliburton and the late Sciota Wilmath Bobbitt Halliburton. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Halliburton was retired from TVA. He loved to fish, hunt, drink coffee and watch John Wayne. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Glenda Sue Moran Halliburton. Mr. Thomas R. Halliburton is survived by his Son, Thomas Lee Halliburton and his Wife, Kathy of Guthrie, OK; Daughter, Brenda Jenkins of Clarksville, TN; Brother, James "Buck" Halliburton of Steilacoom, WA; Sisters, Roberta "Bobbie" Florez of Ft. Worth, TX, and Sciota Wilmath Anderson of Lakeland, FL; Grandchildren, Mitchell Lee Jenkins and his Fiancée, Shelby, Brittany Jenkins, and Amanda Jenkins.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 4 until 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 2 pm at the Taylor Funeral Home. Place of rest will be in the Adams-Smith Cemetery on Nancy Shawl Rd. in Dickson County.
He was murdered by Linda Joan Freeman his second wife.
