Lois (Campbell) Howard, 90, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at Magnolia Manor of Inman after an extended illness.
A native of Greenville County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Newman Campbell (1881-1952) and Lunda Jane (Frady) Campbell (1853-1930), who were married in 1909, and the widow of Voyde Elmer Howard (1911-1985).
She worked as a seamstress at Younger Fashions, Aug W. Smith in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Audrey Hampton; one son, Farrell F. Howard; one sister, Ellen Ponder; two brothers, Harold Campbell, Warren Campbell; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2003, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina, conducted by the Revs. Bill Adams and Sal Barone.
In lieu of flowers, memorials were made to Mobile Meals.
