Cecil Leroy Bradford was the son of Daniel Joseph Bradford and Helen Varney. His roots go back to Governor William Bradford. He married Laura Rodgers and they had at least one child, Dorothy M Bradford Phillips. Dorothy was responsible for a family tree distributed to Mary Wannop Tolerton Dorsey and a scan of which has been donated to NEHGS. This tree (which did not include source information was the groundwork for much of the current work for the descendants of Joseph Bradford of 1771. Photos exist of Cecil alone and with his wife Laura and some of the Bradford and Wannop families. Some of the scans of these have been donated to the Healdsburg Museum. The Bradford family had a presence there from 1874 until the present. Daniel was a baker and a secretary for the Baker's Association. The funeral records of the Funeral Home Carew and English indicate he died near the home of his grandson in San Francisco and that he was considered a loving husband and father.
