ALVEY, BEATRICE R. "BEA," 83, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013. She was the former Beatrice Reynolds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Alvey Jr.; son, Tommy Alvey; and grandson, Stevie Cecil. She is survived by her children, Claudia, Connie Cecil and Rusty Alvey; a brother, James A. Reynolds; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Alvey Jr.; son, Tommy Alvey; and grandson, Stevie Cecil. She is survived by her children, Claudia, Connie Cecil and Rusty Alvey; a brother, James A. Reynolds; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her funeral service was at 10 a.m. Thursday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway, Louisville Ky., with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation was from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Her son Thomas Curtis Alvey, III is buried in Helts Prairie Cemetery, Hillsdael, IN Memorial # 14938402 and her grandson Stephen Earl Cecil, Jr is buried in Quantico National Cemetery Memorial # 479348.
