Some years after the death of Jim, his widow, Lizzie, married William Oscar Talley and they lived in Anniston, AL. Lizzie Talley died June 18, 1974 in Calhoun Co., AL.

PILGRIMS REST CEMETERY: Unable to locate tombstone...may be underground if a flat stone. Somewhere on this old hill of Pilgrims Rest Cemetery are the graves of Jim Adkinson and his wife, Lizzie.

He had a marker as per the 1963 LDS survey. Probably under earth now. Death date only on the tombstone: Feb. 8, 1937 listed Tim Adkinson on the 1963 cemetery survey. The name Tim was probably a typo on the LDS survey.
