Lino M Apodaca Sr, 87, Corinne, Utah, died Wednesday, June 17, 1998, at his home of causes incident to age.

He was born in Gallup, New Mexico on December 29, 1910, to Louis and Maria Marino Apodaca.

He married Monica Baca on June 6, 1928 in Gallup, New Mexico. Monica died on September 9, 1992.

He was a member of St Henry's Catholic Church in Brigham City, Utah.

He had served in the US Army in WWII.

He is survived by nine children: Katie Gonzales, Eutimia Quire, Louis B Apodaca, Lino Apodaca Jr, Christina Apodaca, Alice Jepsen, all of Brigham City, Utah; Jack B Apodaca, Hope Estrada, both of Corinne, Utah; Ernest B Apodaca, Malad, Idaho; 36 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by one brother, Balte Apodaca and two sisters, Maggie Gallageos, Gallup, New Mexico; and Mary Grigalva, Barstow, California.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carmen Mitchell.

Burial was held in the Corinne Cemetery, Corinne, Utah, where military honors will be by VFW Post #1695.
