Leland Raymond Allard died June 25, 2011, in Westley, CA surrounded by his family.

He was born May 13, 1923 to Alma Roose Allard and Glen A. Allard in Oxnard, CA. He lived in the San Fernando Valley until his family moved to the Westley area. He graduated from Patterson High School, where he was a champion tennis player and Stanislaus County champion. He served in the military during World War II as a medic. He graduated from the University of Davis and was a member of the Davis Golf Team, where he learned to love the game of golf. Lee farmed in the Westley area, first with his father and then with his son. Besides the love of golf, he loved hunting, fishing, snow and water skiing and flying an airplane.

He served on Patterson Lions Club, Patterson Fire Department, 20/30 Club as past president and was a member of E. Clampus Vitas, Modesto Ski Club, Westley Men's Club, Del Rio and Turlock Country Clubs. His family admired his vast knowledge as well as his love of life. He truly enjoyed and shared his inquisitiveness for life as well as his innate ability to invent new ways of doing things.

He is survived by his wife Glenda, daughter Gay Lea, son Guy, grandchildren; Lee, Leslie, Guy, Reagan and great granddaughter Payton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Allard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Allard Ranch, 5012 McCracken Road, Westley, Thursday, July 7th at 11:00 am.
