Sallie was a devout Christian and member of the church of Christ. The example she displayed of her unwavering faith and devotion to God will be remembered.
While raising her family she worked for R.B. Department Store in Hungerford, TX, Houston Natural Gas Co., Wharton, TX, and Texas Gulf Sulphur Co. in Newgulf, TX.
A graveside service will held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville, TX with Mr. Chris Maher officiating.
