PEEBLES, Aug. 7 - The body of Pvt. Paul S. Ward, son of Tobe and Grace Ward of North Union, in Highland co, will arrive here at Trefz funeral home Monday night and will be taken to the parents' residence Tuesday morning. Pvt. Ward was killed in action in France Aug. 9, 1944. His body thus arrives home on the fourth anniversary of his death. He originally was interred in St. James cemetery, France. Surviving are six brothers, Elmer, Eugene, Irwin, Leroy, Branson and Bobby, and two sisters, Evelyn and Louise, all at home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Dunkard Ridge church by Rev. H. W. Tumbleson.
