Maggie Heaton Aiken, 98, widow of Foster B. Aiken, made her greatest journey ever, July 28, 2011, into heaven.

Born in Hartwell, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jasper Heaton and Rose Nell Dunn Heaton.

She was a homemaker after retiring from Piedmont Plush Mills and KM Fabric with 65 years of service. She was a longtime faithful member of Holmes Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Joseph M. Martin of Anderson and a number of loving nieces, nephews and their families.

Mrs. Aiken was the last surviving member of her family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Susie Heaton Martin and Ruby Heaton Martin; and her brothers, Wiley Columbus Heaton, Julian Ardis Heaton, Isom Haley Heaton, and Clarence Heaton.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2011 in the Remembrance Chapel Mausoleum at Woodlawn Memorial Park from 1:00 until 2:00pm with services at 2:00pm with Pastor George Hopkins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials please be made to Holmes Memorial Pentecostal Church, 1215 Buncombe Road, Greenville, SC.
