Edward Anthony Croghan died November 7, 2008. Born September 6, 1925 in Longford Ireland, Edward immigrated to America with his family at the age of 2. He served his country in World War II with the U.S. Marines with the 3rd Division in the South Pacific Theater. He received several decorations for his service to his country. Edward married Lorraine Schafer on January 15, 1949. They had 3 children, Maureen, Brian, and Patricia. On February 24th, 2008, he married Anne Noone at Bard College Church. He was predeceased by a Sister Helen, and a brother Thomas. Edward was the son of Thomas and Mary Croghan of Longford Ireland.
