This is to certify the Baptismal Register records the following: that Steven Barczewski, child of Steven Barczewski and Catherine Bieniewska born in the city of Easton, Pennsylvania, on the 13th day of August 1908, and was Baptized on the 23rd day of August 1908, according to the Rite of the Roman Catholic Church by the Rev. Robert Hayes. The sponsors being Charles McClusky and Julia Salmon. Dated: May 23, 1955. Rev. Joseph B. Muldoon, Pastor.

Dairy Owner Dies at 50.
Steven Barczewski, Jr., Had Been in Business In This Area 30 Years.

Steven Barczewski, Jr., 50, of Glasgow, DE, owner of the West End Dairy, died today in The Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient about two weeks.

Born in Easton, PA, he came to Wilmington as a small boy with his parents and settled on a farm in Talleyville. From his early years, he worked in dairy farming and was in the milk business about 30 years. He moved from Talleyville to Bear Station and finally to Glasgow in 1942. Under his leadership the West End Dairy was built up from one to 17 routes.

Mr. Barczewski was a past president of the Milk Dealers Association, a member of the Newark Lions Club, and was active in the Antique Automobile Club of Delaware.

He is survived by his wife, Anne; two sons, Steven and George; one daughter, Joanne, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Katherine Barczewski; five brothers, Joseph, Stanley, Herman, Walter, and Edward; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Grabowski, and Mrs. Lucy Pietlock, all of Wilmington, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family.
