Lawrence E. Edwards, 61, husband of Bonnie Bashor Edwards, E. Nottingham Township, died Saturday evening in Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital, Lancaster, PA.
Born in Tennessee, he was a son of the late Robert G. and Mary Bailey Edwards.
He was a member of the Brethren Church, Wilmington, Del., and had been engaged in farming in E. Nottingham Twp., Chester County, PA.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Lawrence E. Edwards Jr., Glen Moore, PA; Charles A. Edwards, Coatesville RD, PA; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth, wife of Harold Kauffman, Coatesville, PA; and Vera Sue, wife of John W. Cully, Port Deposit, Md., and 12 grandchildren.
Also several brothers and sisters including Robert Edwards, Jonesboro, Tenn.; Carl Edwards, West Grove, PA; Jesse Edwards, Jonesboro, Tenn.; Herman Edwards, Peach Bottom, PA; Mrs. Viola Rowe, Kingsport, Tenn.; Mrs. Maude Bowman and Mrs. Lorena Edwards, both of Jonesboro, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held from the Cauffman Funeral Home, 86 Pine St., Oxford, PA, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. with interment in Glen Run Cemetery.
