A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 1995, in the chapel of Macy & Son in McMinnville. Mr. Swearengin died Oct. 29 at age 61. Born Sept. 25, 1934, in Sparks, Okla., he was a farmer and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his son, John H. Swearengin III of McMinnville; daughters, Marie-Ruth and Karen M. of McMinnville, and Rhonda E. of Detroit, Mich.; brothers, Kenneth of Burns and Michael of McMinnville; sister, Betty Strasser of Tigard; and four grandchildren.
Interment: Evergreen Memorial Park, McMinnville.
Remembrances: Oregon Public Broadcasting or the Oregon Symphony.
Arrangements: Macy & Son.
