Patricia L. Allen, 51, of 1400 Denton Creek Rd., Beaverton, died Sunday, Jan. 20, in the Midland Hospital Center after a long bout with cancer. Born in Kansas City, Mo., Aug. 4, 1933, she came to Gladwin County in 1977. She was a member of the Albright Shores Assembly of God Church, Beaverton O.E.S. 386, the All-Bright Shores Citizens Watch, Billings Township Fire Department and the 21 CB Club. She was also 1984 Homemaker of the Year at The Gladwin County Fair.
She was married to Neil Allen June 21, 1980, in Gladwin. Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth and Dennis Flauding of Florida; one daughter, Jennifer Pate of Iowa; her parents, C. R. Regan of Florida and Becky Mitchel of California; 2 sisters and a stepbrother; and 5 grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Roy Glasgow officiated and burial was in the Billings Township Cemetery. An Eastern Star Memorial was held Monday at 8 p.m. Gladwin County Record dated 1-23/1985 Column - 3 Page - 2.
