On January 29, 1886 he married Lucy Josephine Mills, and to this union were born five children, one dying in infancy. He was converted many years ago, and united with the Antioch Christian Church. He had spent his entire life in this vicinity. He was a good neighbor, always willing to lend a helping hand in need. He loved his home and family and made a warm place in the hearts of all who knew him.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, three daughters, Mrs John O'Kelley of Everton, Mrs Leslie Coble of Dearing Kansas, Mrs Clyde Tolbert of Coffeyville, Kansas, one son, Fred Coble of Everton, 17 grandchildren, one great- grandchild, one brother, Benjamin Coble of Everton, and a host of relatives and friends...
