Mary is a daughter of William T. Poindexter, born in Kentucky, and Rebecca Jane Nickols. Margaret Pallow listed on death certificate is not correct.

Mary, age 68, died from Tuberculosis in both lungs after an illness of 18 years. Charles Brown of Everton, MO is the informant on her MO Death Certificate.

From the Greenfield Vedette, January 2, 1919 -- Mrs. Mary F Coble (nee Poindexter) was born in Dade County in the Antioch neighborhood, February 13, 1850, where she grew to womanhood and spent the greater part of her life. She died at the home of her daughter Rosetta in Everton December 23, 1918; age 68 years, 10 months and 10 days.
She was married to William R Coble January 9, 1873, and was the mother of one child, a daughter, Mrs. Charles Brown, in whose home she had lived since the death of her husband, which occurred June 6, 1916.
She professed faith in Christ about eleven years ago, and with her own husband, daughter and husband, and her two grandchildren, all together, united with the Christian Church at Antioch, in which communion she lived a faithful and exemplary life until called to her heavenly home.
She had been feeble in health for ten years, and almost an invalid for the last five years, but was patient during all of her sickness and suffering, and seldom if ever was heard to utter a word of complaint, but was perfectly resigned to the will of her Lord and Master. She was conscious up to the very last and spoke of being ready and willing to go. Sister Coble was one of those sweet-spirited women, loved and respected by all who knew her...
