Nobie was born to William and Isabell (Johnson)Summers in
1905 in Oklahoma. She married Ed Melton and had one daughter, Jacqueline Fletcher; married William Marion Nance and had three children, Lona Smith Stewart, Darlene Jolley, and Billy Junior Nance. Nobie resided most of her life in Monahans and a short time in California. She also had many grandchildren who loved their "Mema" and great grandchildren. She died in Odessa Hospital from complications following an aneruism. She was truly a servant of the Lord and is in wonderous peace walking the everlasting streams of everlasting life.
