Mrs. N. J. Laskey died at her home on County Street Monday. She was born in Cone, Aug. 16, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Auten. She married N. J. Laskey March 17, 1892. He was postmaster of Milan for several years. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Grant L. Laskey and Lynn Laskey, five grandchildren; three brothers, N. Stanley, and Clayton Auten of Milan; and Willard Auten of Detroit; a sister, Mrs. T. E. Rainier of Covington, IN. Funeral held at the residence, Rev. E. C. Stringer, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial at Marble Park Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Laskey moved to Milan in 1912.
