BLACKWELL George Franklin Blackwell, ST, was found dead in bed by members of his family in his home in the Mountain View section about 7 o'clock Tuesday morning. The cause of his death was not immediately ascertained. He appeared to be in good health and spirits when he retired Monday night, relatives said. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Beulah Hosp Blackwell, and the following children: Mrs. Floyd Costner and Miss Artie May Blackwell, both of Gastonia; Glenn Blackwell, of Great Falls, S. C.; and Clyde, Charles and Edna Blackwell, all at home. Funeral arrangement* were incomplete today, but it was known that services would be held some time Wednesday. Deceased was a native of Cleve Edward Saunders, Nathaniel Barber, Robert Pharr, L. A. Royster, Otto Martin Pharr, Misses Ruby Barber and Mesdames Catherine Johnson and C. W. Blair.
