Note: The Maine Veterans Cemetery Records lists this William M, in error, as having served in the 6th Maine Battery. That soldier, though, was actually William Imhoff, who had previously served in the 2nd Maine, and used an alias when he reenlisted in'64 [he is buried at Togus].
