Mrs. Lana E. Olson, 81, Grand Island, died early this morning in a Hastings hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home with the Rev. John Shell officiating. Burial will be in Grand Island Cemetery.
Mrs. Olson was born Oct. 5, 1879, to Mr. and Mrs. John C. Prigga? at Clarinda, Ia. She moved with her family to Wymore at the age of 8 where her father was employed with the railroad. On May 21, 1903, she was married to Albert I. Olson in Big Springs where they continued to make their home. Mr. Olson was employed by the railroad in that community. They moved to Grand Island in 1909 and have resided here since that time. Mrs. Olson was a member of the Grand Island First Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, one son, H. J. Olson, and one daugher, Mrs. W. R. Overdorff, all of Grand Island, two grandsons, one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
